Eindhoven, 16th of June 2008 — Yabu ADSL launches an Internet connection without a fixed data limit and with national availability in Belgium. The subscription with the name Yabu ADSL Flex can be ordered as from today on the Yabu ADSL internet site (www.yabu.be) and it will be activated as from 1st of July 2008.
Two years ago Yabu started in Belgium with a nearly unique offer of ADSL-subscriptions. In contrast to subscriptions to many of the other providers, the Yabu ADSL-subscriptions had a high data limit, with market-conform prices. With that Yabu put an end to the stress which many Internet users in Belgium experience monthly when they are about to reach their data limit.
Now, in 2008, Yabu ADSL launches a payable alternative without a fixed data limit. The Yabu ADSL Flex costs 44.95 euro per Month. The well-known data limit has been replaced by a `fair use policy’.
The speed of this subscription is 4 mbps. In July of this year customers will have the choice to raise the speed to 9 or 12 mbps. That depends on availability. The speed increase will be available according to the expectations in 85% of the Belgian territory. Furthermore, the subscription contains 25 mail boxes of 250mb, including virus/spamfilter.
Everything about the Yabu ADSL Flex subscription can be read on the Internet site. There you can also find further information about the service and the extra attention which Yabu gives to its customers, such as the service web and the blog. Yabu Europe believes that, with its high-quality and transparent service, it provides with a unique service on the Belgian ADSL market.
Yabu ADSL Flex can be ordered on the Internet site www.yabu.be/flex.

We are very sorry to announce that our servicedesk will be less reachable from friday the 14th of March till monday the 17th of March. KPN, the supplier for our connections on the Yabu head office in the Netherlands, seems to be unable to deliver connections on these days. KPN seemed to have no reason to inform us about this outage, therefore we were unable to inform our customers on time. It is scheduled that the lines will be re-connected on the 17th of March, however, KPN still didn’t manage to confirm this to us.
We will try to prevent as much as possible the inconvinience and the bother wich this might cause. Everything that is in our power to keep the servicedesk and technical department up and running 24 hours a day will be done at any time. However considering the difficult circumstances at that time we might not be able to complete some of the requests. We appoligize for any inconvinience caused and appreciate your co-operation.
Due to these problems at the servicedesk it is possible that the helpers can’t answer your questions or solve a problem as quickly as you are used from us. Therefore we would like to ask our customers, to send their questions if possible through e-mail. If needed, just put your phone number in the e-mail and describe us your question. We will answer all questions as soon as possible.
We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understandings.

Due to diverse price increases by most of our suppliers (mainly energy and transmission), we are forced to review the pricing of our adsl products. We are reporting this since last week on the Yabu Serviceweb. The changes are not equeal and do not apply to everyone, therefor we posted a customised message on the package details within the serviceweb (the page where you also can see your current usage). Price changes for current users are different then the prices that are published for new customers. For more information and questions, please send an e-mail to finance@yabu.eu.

The Serviceweb is offline for maintenance at the moment. We will get the Serviceweb back online as soon as possible. When there is any news, we will post it in this blog message. Please accept our apologies for this temporary disruption.
[update 15:40] It is taking a bit longer then planned due some unexpected problems. We solved these problems and are now running the security tests. When these are ready we will re-open the Serviceweb for logins. Thank you for your patience.
[update 17:25] The Serviceweb is open for logins again. We are still improving a lot of things in the code, but that is mostly design. All options should be normally available now. With todays updates we improved the design, security and functionallity. Thank you all for your patience today!

As of today it is possible to pay your Proforma Invoices with your credit card or with a paypal account. This service is an addition on the current allowed payment methods.
When you choose to use this service you can do this by logging in to the Yabu Europe Serviceweb and go to the ‘billing’ section. There you can open a Proforma Invoice by clicking the invoice id. The page that will open after will show you a link to pay the bill online. All online payments go through Paypal. When you don’t have a Paypal account you can choose to pay with a credit card, this option will pop-up on the first paypal screen.
For the online payments there will be an administration fee. The cost of this fee is based on the full amount of your invoice. The actual fee that will be charged when you choose for an online payment, will be shown on the invoice details page, the page where you will also find the link to perform the online payment.
